Don’t Call Me Grandma

 We’ve seen this story before but here’s another spin about grandparents who use foreign-language terms for grandma and grandpa.  Why do “Grandparents Put Aside Yesterday’s Labels”?

For many, it means connecting with their ethnic roots; for others, such words are just easy to pronounce or sound good. Some say the words are often among the first sounds their toddler grandchildren make – they had no clue the words had meanings in other languages.
